For over 35 years, Perugia, a small historic hilltop town in the center of Italy has played host to the annual Umbria Jazz Festival, acknowledged as one of the top jazz festivals in Europe. Featured artists over the years have included internationally renowned jazz greats such as Miles Davis, Dizzy Giliespie, Herbie Hancock, Sarah Vaughan, Gilberto Gil and Charles Mingus as well as fan favorites Alicia Keyes, Steely Dan, James Taylor, Burt Bacharach, BB King and more.  

While the dates for the 2011 UJ Festival  have been set for July 8-17, the program has not yet been finalized.  In recent years the festival has featured performances by Sonny Rollins, Chick Corea, Pat Metheny, Mark Knopfler, Stefano Bollani and Manhattan Transfer. Our festival package combines front row tickets to headliner performances, entrance to the festival’s more intimate venues, exploration and discovery of the magic of Umbria and time to relax and drink in la dolce vita of Italy.

You will be our guest at La Fattoria del Gelso, a beautiful private villa in the Umbrian countryside, where you will enjoy deluxe accommodations and service in a tranquil setting. During the day, relax by the pool or explore the same natural beauty that inspired St. Francis of Assisi centuries ago. A deposit of 50% of the total is required at the time of booking. Balance is due June 1, 2011. Price quoted is per person, double occupancy sharing a double room. A single room supplement of €400 will be charged to guests not sharing a room.
